Tidelock Command

★★★★☆ 4.2 Editor rating

Tidelock Command is about patience. You start with one small island, gather resources, build up defenses, and gradually push outward across an archipelago. It's the kind of strategy game where a single decision ripples out for the next twenty minutes, so it rewards thinking ahead.

The touch interface is well thought out — pinch to zoom the map, tap and hold to queue orders, and a clean overview panel so you're not lost. We did notice the menus get busy once you have several islands running, and newcomers may feel overwhelmed early on.

Performance was steady, though the simulation can warm the phone during big battles. Battery use is moderate. If you like managing systems and watching an empire slowly take shape, this one has real depth.
