About
HarborBox Play started as a group chat where a few of us kept swapping screenshots and complaining about games that drained our phones in twenty minutes. At some point we figured we might as well write it all down properly, so here we are. The site is small, independent, and run by people who genuinely like playing on their phones during commutes and lunch breaks.,Every game we cover gets real time on real devices. We don't review from trailers or press kits. Somebody on the team installs the thing, plays it for a few evenings, fiddles with the graphics sliders, watches the battery meter, and then we argue about the score until we agree.,We pick games the way any curious player would — something's trending, a friend recommends it, a genre we love gets a new entry. We try to mix it up so the catalog isn't just puzzle games, because mobile has far more range than people give it credit for.,Nobody here is sponsored to say nice things. If a game stutters or the touch controls feel mushy, we write that down too. The goal is simple: help you decide whether something's worth the storage space.
Markus Lindqvist — Markus has been reviewing mobile games since the early touchscreen days and still keeps three test phones charging on his desk. He handles most of the performance and battery testing for the team.
