Hollowreach

Hollowreach is a slower, moodier experience. You wander a hand-drawn world, poke at the environment, and piece together what happened here through objects and fragments rather than big cutscenes. It's the sort of game that respects your attention.

Interaction is all tap-and-explore, with occasional environmental puzzles that aren't too taxing but feel earned. We loved the art and the sound design — headphones are strongly recommended. The pacing won't suit everyone; if you want constant action, this isn't it.

It ran smoothly throughout and was gentle on battery, which fits a game you'd play curled up before bed. A short but memorable journey.
